Bring your car to the registration table. Cars will be inspected and weighed to ensure they meet the Classic and/or Advanced Division specs.

Races run continuously until every racer has competed. Exact end time depends on the number of entries.

The pinnacle of college timber racing comes to campus, The Purdue Pinewood Derby! You and your friends have the chance to design and build your own Pinewood Derby car and race it against others in this epic race to determine who can make the fastest block of wood.

What is the cost to register?

Classic Division: $5 for Purdue students and $10 for Purdue faculty/staff.
Advanced Division: $10 for Purdue students and for Purdue faculty/staff.

How do I register?

Join us at a Pinewood Derby callout event and/or register here to enter the race.

What is included in the registration cost?

You will receive a Pinewood Derby car kit & access to building and painting workshops leading up to the event.

Who can participate?

Any registered student or staff at Purdue University.

What is a Pinewood Derby?

A Pinewood Derby is an event held by the Cub Scout program where Scouts race small wooden cars which they build themselves or with the help of a parent/guardian.
